This is a very easy and inexpensive way to liven up a plain wall. I do not have a headboard so I like to always have something hung above my bed. I did this project in an afternoon and it cost less than $15.
These letters were $3.50 a piece at Hobby Lobby.
Quick Drying Metallic spray paint makes this project especially easy. The paint dries in less than a minute and it was under $5 at Hobby Lobby.
I put four thin coats of paint on the letters, letting the paint dry for a few minutes between each coat.
There was nothing to hang them from, so I hot glued paper clips to the back.
For wall decorations, i would really like to put up decorations with very bright colors because they enhance the look of the house. ‘`”:*
