Cheap and Easy: Kitchen Storage

In my teeny tiny kitchen I have to be creative with decoration and storage. These canisters do a little bit of double duty. They add a tish of color to my otherwise bland counters and they store my flour and sugar for baking. The best part is they were pretty much free!

Start with old popcorn tins, the ones you get during the holidays from boy scouts. Paint them, you can use anything, I used wall paint I found in my parents basement, spray paint would work well too. Grab a sharpie a label!

Like the brown sugar canister? Check out this post on ISDStyle!
