These coasters are a simple and cheap DIY. I love that they keep the character of paint samples too, I’ve had a few people tell me they thought I just had paint samples hanging out on my coffee table, which I love. There’s something about paint samples that always inspires me.
Paint Samples
Vinyl Floor Samples
Modge Podge
Clear spray paint
Utility knife
foam brush
Trim floor samples to fit paint samples. If your cuts aren’t perfect, sand edges with sandpaper. Brush a thin layer of modge podge on the floor samples, attach paint samples. Let dry. Once dry spray with clear spray paint (be sure to do so outside, or in a well-ventilated area.) Let dry for an hour and spray a second coat. Let dry for 24 hours before using.
Such a fun idea! I loved the unique look of these. So great meeting you tonight and I’m excited for another day of fun tomorrow,
Thanks Ginny! It was great meeting you! 🙂
